2024 ROCKY MOUNTAIN ANNUAL CONFERENCE & PT EXPO

Dr. Kate Spencer PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS has been downhill skiing as long as she can remember. Practicing PT since 2006, she served as a PT volunteer for the US Ski Team from the start. She was a traveling PT for 10 years, working winters in Aspen/Snowmass in an on-mountain clinic where she was able to treat patients with ski injuries from the acute phase through return to sport. She now owns a mobile private practice where she continues to work with skiers of all ages and abilities. She is an active member of the APTA. In 2023, she published the Independent Study Course “Physical Therapist Management of the Winter Athlete: Orthopedic Management of the Downhill Skier” for the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy.
