Dr. John L. Sherman graduated from Tufts Medical School in Boston with an MD in 1976. He completed his internship, radiology residency, and neuroradiology fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Sherman continued to practice as an active-duty radiologist in the Medical Corps at Walter Reed, subsequently serving as the Director of Diagnostic Radiology until his mandatory military service was completed in December 1984. He has practiced in the outpatient imaging environment in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Hawaii, and Colorado. Dr. Sherman has held associate Clinical Professor appointments at George Washington University, The Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, and the University of Colorado. Dr. Sherman has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented hundreds of lectures.
