About me
Dr. Gee is a PT, yoga instructor, and former professional cellist in Denver, CO. Playing-related injuries including focal dystonia forced her to leave her music career in 2010. During her rehabilitation, she saw a need for healthcare providers who truly understood the multifactorial impairments musicians face. She earned her DPT from the University of California San Francisco and completed doctoral research on PT interventions for music performance anxiety. She has lectured at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and presented for the Performing Arts Medicine Association and other APTA conferences. After completing the Regis University Orthopedic residency, she became a board-certified orthopedic specialist in 2023. She works for Panorama Orthopedics and Spine and provides private PT, education and consultation to musicians across the country.
