About me
Amy O’Connell, MS, CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist with 30 years of experience who first began working with disorders of the upper airway in 1998. She has been an SLP at National Jewish Health (NJH) for the last 8 years, where she is privileged to lead the NJH Speech Pathology Team in their work in the Exercise and Performance Breathing Center. This center brings a multi-disciplinary focus on the assessment and treatment of Exercise Induced Laryngeal Obstruction (EILO), as well as lesser seen disorders such as Breathing Pattern Disorder (BPD) and Excessive Dynamic Airway Collapse (EDAC). Amy’s current focus is on creating learning opportunities for external rehabilitation providers to better understand disorders of the upper airway and their impact on patients.
